I live in Florida and am In my last year of the nursing program. My fiancee is a rookie firefighter and we are planning on having kids n the next year or so but I want to take of 6 months to be a stay at home mom and adjust with my fiance’s 24 hours shift schedule. I am not sure what the maximum maternity leave time is??? Any ideas?
I am trying to decide between just having a kid before I start my nursing profession or getting a year or so in and then taking off 6 months.
